Yeah, I heard... It's unfortunate, but he was having health issues for a while, so, on the plus side, he doesn't have to suffer from things like abdominal aneurysms anymore. It's a bummer though.

He died choking on a d20 <.< he actually still ran weekly dnd sessions from his house in Lake Geneva, and from the sounds of things, anybody could just show up and sit down with the guy. I wish I had known that, Lake Geneva is only like a hour and a half drive from here.

What his health dropped to -10, quick get a cleric to rez him. More seriously though, it is rather unfortunate. He made it possible for a lot of what we have out there for entertainment. Think about it, he invented the idea of a role playing game so without him WoW wouldn't exist, nor would tons of other games.

Existence vs Stagnation Tracy Bailey's Catena exists but has gone on hiatus long before Reliquary and has had one update in January, but it still exists. Trudy Cooper's Platinum Grit hasn't had an update in a loooooooooong time, but it still exists. Enough said. Both are great comics by the way.

Platinum Grit updates 3-4 times a year and is like 200 pages long. As for Catena, I read it until it went on hiatus, after it went on hiatus I kind of forgot about it. The same thing goes for VG Cats, I basically only read it when you guys tell me that he posted something. I have said many times that Reliquary has gone stagnant.
I harass you because you have said on multiple occasions that you were going to be doing the strips again. I realize that you are in college, so am I, so I know how hard it is to complete somethings when there are other things that need more attention. This is why I said you should keep people informed about what is going on. We will take Platinum Grit and the way Trudy keeps her readers informed on what is happening with the comic. This is a courtesy to your readers. Granted most of the fan base is the D&D group that created the characters for the comic, but there are also others. Take my brother for example, he and his friends stopped looking at the comic because it took so long for the updates to come out and there was nothing stating why.
Yes, Reliquary is a great comic, and yes it is worth waiting for updates, but it would be nice to know what is going on. As for the existence thing, I was joking around.

Yeah, sorry if I seemed snappy.
I just tend to not appreciate cynicism no matter how minute it is, intended or not.
Having to bust my butt every week to shell out 70+ drawings for an animation isn't really helping my update schedule. I've been trying to think of ways to get around this matter, and the only way I can really think of is to either simplify my style, shorten the number of panels per week, or lengthen my update schedule. Since I've yet to decide on any of these methods or a combination of them, and have been experimenting on occasion with different techniques, I don't wish to either have a style that changes weekly, nor would I like to say Reliquary will update on such a week if I can't guarantee anything.
The short of it is that I really don't know and don't want to create further confusion and fan repulsion by inadvertently lying.
